Hello, I am wondering if there is some kind of "master list" of parts for Marklin Metall kits? I need about 5 parts but I don't know what part numbers I am looking for.

Thanks

Rick

Which set are you looking for? I do have some lists including the lists for the 1014 and 1034 sets which I used when looking for parts for those sets.

There are also pictures available which show what the part looks like so that when a widget is described you can see what a widget looks like.

21 holes girder part # 8/21
3 holes girder part # 8/3
7x3 angled plate # 50/7

Used to be available from Metallus, but they went out of business.

I realise you only want a few parts, what I was asking is what set were you wanting the parts for? From that we can hopefully give a list of what is meant to be in the set.

In addition to the seller Jacques mentions, there are a couple of good sellers on ebay who have most parts. If they aren't listed in their auctions, just ask they will most probably have them.

Hi, I'm not putting together a set. This is more of a freelance project.

I have already purchased a small set on eBay Germany that had various parts that I needed. Now it is down to the last bits.

I have a little time though until the "Official" unveiling in June!

These are the two ebay sellers who between them have most Marklin Metall parts. If it isn't listed, ask them, most likely they will have the items.

I'm waiting for Markus Schild Offline to join this discussion - what he doesn't know about M-Metall isn't worth knowing Laugh

In the meantime, this site has a brief history of M-M and a nice graphic of the parts available - (ignore the weird links, seems some keywords have become advertising links)

This one is probably better - a complete list of parts with 5 digit part numbers and photos to match. There's a list at the back of what is in sets that were sold during the 1950's / 1960's /1970's - i.e. sets such as 1014 and 1034. I used these to replace missing parts in my 1014 and 1034 sets. Taken from the 14930 instruction manual.

Marklin Metal 14930.pdf (1,172kb) downloaded 76 time(s).

Does anyone by chance have a M-Metall PARTS price list, ie not for sets or kits, but a part by part price list?

None of the sites linked above seem to have any, unless I've missed it skimming through them.

I'm not sure such a thing was even a public document but more likely would be a dealer pricelist that would have been issued to supplement the parts cabinets previously available.

This may actually fall under a full Märklin spare-part number price listing covering ALL products and might be a very large file.

I'm not bothered what currency the list is in, most likely it would be DM or Euro's anyway. And for any year of publication.

Any help appreciated

Steve

There is a list (maybe a partial list) on Joel Perlin's website - probably the prices he is selling the parts for. There are also lists for Meccano and other set makers.

So when poking around the Users Net here I saw this old topic of mine and thought I would check into it. Not being an erector collector (he he - rhyme), I forget to look at this topic.

Anyway, since I have seen the rest of the internet, I checked out this topic this morning showing the link that Cookee Cool had never seen. For a laugh, and it being the last site on the internet that I have't seen this morning, I clicked on it and had a look. Come to find out that this guy is about two hours away from me and I could pass by, and probably have on one of my many trips up to San Francisco!

I'm going to contact him to see if he has the last two parts that I need and who knows, maybe the two parts that my item was missing when I bought it (that I had to re-make).

Thanks for the link!

Rick
