Hello all,

I am looking at this loco 37190. It’s not running as smoothly as we would like. Does anyone have an electronic version of the operating manual, in particular the parts relating to lubrication of the axles and worm gears?

Thanks
Adrian

Hello Adrian, could only find this:

Apart from a drop of Marklin oil #7149 either side of the axles and oil on the worm gear every 40 hrs of operation.

You can remove the bottom plate with screws on either end if you want to do the job properly.

Thanks Dave.

Very helpful especially the worm gear as I wondered if it may have required the Trix grease. As it turns out I have found an issue with the last axle on the tender which is neither revolving or sliding across when the loco goes around a curve. Although this is a small resistance it would account for poor slow speed running.

Best
Adrian
