Hello to all the members:

I have been without using my z scale trains for years, and when I decided to open the boxes where I had the plastic kits stored (wrapped in paper for protection) for several years. The problem is that when I take them out the box they look very dirty and rusty looking (Is plastic). My question is what's the best way to clean these plastic kits.

Thank you and Regards,

Carlos

I would use compressed air first, that and a soft paintbrush together. If you don't have a source of compressed air all of the computer stores carry the small one use cans for cleaning keyboards, etc. And clean your tracks with rubbing alchohol on a square of t-shirt material (or similar) before you set your trains on them! ;)

Thank you husafreak, I'll try later. I hope works because I have a lot of plastic kits in the same conditions.

Carlos
