After seeing that video, I had to pick my jaw off of the floor
again
. Many Märklin collectors in Holland and France would gladly donate an eye, a lung or a kidney for those two train sets. That
Capitole
set is priceless, a dream come true, but the Dutch train is incredible as well. If I'm lucky, really lucky, then one day I will be able to buy the
Capitole
loco and a single
Capitole
coach. But a whole train? First you have to find them in this condition (they're as new, stellar, amazing), then you have to be able to afford them.
Oscar <--- blown away.

I agree with Oscar...these are fantastic. It is amazing how real they sound with the M track!

Hi Oscar,
I think that in Europe there are thousand of these kind of models, but they sleep in their boxes closed in secret furnitures.
I must thank some collectors, that buy the models years ago and never used them.
But I live once a time, and prefer run them now, with care and no too much of course.
This video must be only the first, other fantastic trains wait for their shift, do you agree?

I'm happy to see the Märklin soul in the new catalog.
Capitole, E94 DB&OBB, Nohab, five poles engines
So my Capitole will have nine coaches soon, and Oscar his dreamt set.
Meanwhile look at the new four videos at the bottom of this page:

Many thanks, dear Al - those videos are of incredible quality !!! [:p][:p][:p]
True masterpieces, they are - you even managed to top yourself (again) !!!
And then this camera angle ... one might think he were a preiser and part of the show
Also, with
"
Una Stazione di Anni 50
"
and its night shots you created a time machine.
Such is art, and Oscar is right - by watching this one forgets about his surroundings ...

<font face="Verdana][size=2]Your collection really sets the standard against which all others are judged, Alberto. It never ceases to amaze me what you have, how well it has been preserved, and how well it is filmed and photographed. Outstanding work, keep it up!!</font id="Verdana]
