Hi,
What`s the difference between 3307 and 3607 ?
Look the same outside and even Ersatzteile list is the same.
Thought 3607 are digital, but not all of them are described as such, i.e. digital.
It`s important for me to be ANALOG.
Thanks

3307 is Analogue (with electronic reversing unit). 3607 is Digital (c80 decoder).

Otherwise, the locos are the same.

Thank you,Nigel.

Is EVERY 3307 with factory built electronic Reverse Unit (EE 61486) ?

Or it`s originally with mechanical 208240 ?
I mean, electronic r - units are offered as new units to replace old mechanical units.

Also, mechanical reverse unit for 3307 is shown here:

https://www.maerklin.de/...elnummer=3307&lang=1

In short, I would like to acquire 3307 with OLD MECHANICAL r-unit, but will probably have to ask sellers about the particular loco.

Hi

The 3106 - 3107 are with the mechanical reversing unit

The 33xx have electronic reverse unit and 36xx digital

The exact type of the electronic reverse unit depends on the specific model

That diagram is confusing because it doesn’t show the differences between the various models.

Also, the electronic reversing units still have the solenoid mechanism, but with an additional electronic circuit to suppress the “kangaroo” jumping when reversing the loco.

Even the 3607 with original c80 digital decoder will run just as well on an analogue layout.
