Hi,
which information are you looking for? Technically you can use the sheet for 3015, it is fully correct. A sheet for 30159 was never published. The only difference would have been the numbers for the brown parts.
Regards
Markus

Markus Thanks Markus, I usually try to have all possible information about the locomotives I own, I couldn´t find the exact one. As you posted, they are almost the same but with a small difference in the direction switch.

Thanks all of you for the promptly answers! Honestly, it was my first post in this forum and I was expecting an email notification that never came in until I got here back, sorry for the delay. I got my train in 1974 when I was 9 years old, played hard many years until early '80 the stopped running. A few years ago I sent my locos for overhaulin' and started back learning again. I'm a beginner with small knowledge but with big enthusiasm. These huges Crocodiles where my dream ever since I saw them in catalogs. Lucky me, I got them now. On the pictures attached you´ll see the small differences in the switches. Thanks again to everyone! Märklin 3015 and 30159 inside Right Märklin 3015 and 30159 inside Upper Märklin 3015 and 30159 inside Left

Another option you have with this or any other 3015 type loco if you decide to operate it under digital is a permanent magnet from ESU (part number 51965) I had the digital version but sold it as I found it was to colossal with my other crocodile and even more with my Roco crocodiles. |

Hi, The 3015 shown has the switch 208660. This version of the switch was used until the late 1960s. Later 3015 in 1970s have the same switch 234000 as shown in the 30159. Regards Markus
