I was looking at the description of Roco's new Fall 2017 Re 4/4II model (73254, 73255) and 79255 and I noticed that it states that the model goes with the 74560 to 74564 EWII coaches. I could not find any description for those models, but with a total of 5 models, this probably includes first class A, second class B and possibly combined first and second class AB coaches, plus Roco has previously made a baggage (D) coach plus mail coach (Z). The 41312 set and the 64361/2/3/4/5 included a mix of similar coaches with the 1980s <+>SBB CFF FFS markings with or without the turquoise comfort stripe. I am guessing that this new production will once again have the traditional 1970s SBB + CFF/SBB + FFS markings and will officially be announced as 2018 New Items.
Regards

That site has everyone's new items. Lot's to look at. A couple have firms haven't exactly broken the bank on new moulds ( Fleischmann, Brawa). Fortunately they had some good ones in 2017 particularly the E52

Lots of interesting stuff for me.
The Rh 1041, the Silberlingen coaches, the silo Wagen sets, the new Schlierenwagen set all looking very tempting. Not to mention their Crocodile.
Well done!

Flipgorilla? Is that a show on Donald Trump's Gorilla TV?
I said it a few months ago that some companies would miss out on opportunities…
Roco delivers the LokRoll SBB Cargo 193. They also score a point for the Novelis 189s. The BLS Re 4/4 will be a welcome completion to the Roco BLS collection.
I am guessing the new EWII will have more detailed door parts and finer handrails and footsteps than the original models.
Somebody still has a chance to be the first to announce a model of the RailCare 476…
The biggest welcome surprise for me is the exact scale models of the Avmz111 (74653) and Apmz125 (74650).
Enjoy flipping through the pages

Well for me its been a long waiting time for BLS Re 4/4's and they have 2 in the making with 2 different road numbers. I have 2 HAG Re 4/4's but they are not ready available on the second hand market and usually have a price tag associated with and unfortunately the ones which are for sale have the same road number over and over again.
this will be my purchase for 2018

John Agreed- do you have any idea what "long version" means for the one variant in the catalog? |

John Agreed- do you have any idea what "long version" means for the one variant in the catalog? As part of the ongoing improvements to this loco, with road number 174, the housing was adjusted to make the locomotive 37 cm longer. I believe this to be the longer variant. Ver nice looking loco |

Very nice looking loco yes under Wikipedia it states the length prior to the extension but doesn't explain what has been extended. (15000 mm to 15470mm) |

Ver nice looking loco Further irony is the Roco models are the same 178mm length. I can't afford both, so I'm at a bit of a loss on which to buy |

Nice- 189 is my plan as well, for my HAG auto carrier tunnel train, that is unless the long version is something I can't live without. Getting both are tempting, but buying 2 identical locos is a trend I'm currently sprinting away from, prototypical consist or not |

2018 items? I'm still waiting on the 2017 items they announced LAST January (that were scheduled to be delivered in Dec 2017) to show up... That and roco.cc has been marked as a 'bad domain' by my corporate firewall, so I can no longer access it from work :( |

I figured ok maybe I just got bit with the Roco announced it in Jan 2017 and then never produced it issue. I'd assumed that if they announce a product they intended to produce it; LokShop still shows it as backordered in the status messages. Then I realized I can just use my phone and check the website, so I was able to pull up the catalog entries for the items anyway. Tip, use your phone for train porn. So the items that were to be produced in 12/2017 and 1/2018 have now been pushed back to 2018 CW6 - which is middle of February 2018. So time to wait another 4 weeks and see whats what. The "New for 2017" items are now solidly "New fro 2018" items, though they don't show as new for 2018 items of course. |

When sites like Roco, etc get flagged as dangerous, it is likely because they are on a server where viruses or other malware has been detected or reported, leading to all sites using that server being flagged.
This is often due to Google analytics or info gathered by the virus defenders and then reported to their users.
It is interesting that some browsers will pop up these warnings while others won't react to them and some antivirus software will only let you know you have been infected after you have been infected, rather than when you first browse to the site in question (warning).

I'm waiting for Märklin items that were announced last January and that were scheduled for May. ESU don't announce much this year, but several 2017 announcements haven't shipped yet. Most brands play the "announce early, deliver late" game. And the winner is LS Models ... Think positive: frustrated customers spend less money on pre-orders. |
Regards Tom --- "In all of the gauges, we particularly emphasize a high level of quality, the best possible fidelity to the prototype, and absolute precision. You will see that in all of our products." (from Märklin New Items Brochure 2015, page 1) ROFLBTCUTS |
