Well, you helped me with catenary, now it is time for signals.

Has anyone got scans of old analogue signal instructions, wiring etc? You know the sort of thing, M track, bulky signals, track switches, isolated track sections etc etc.

The simplest use I remember from the dim and distant past was having two trains on the same track stopping and starting each other...ad infinitum!

marklin USA used to have a PDF copy of the original signal manual on their website, but I don't seem to be able to get to it anymore, it seems to go to an english version of the German website.

I don't have a copy of it on this machine, otherwise I would post it, perhaps someone else has a copy handy.

The only other signal manual I can offer apart from those that have already been uploaded or are on the LCTM site is this one - 0361 Signal Manual.

Although this manual covers the K track series of signals, the manual does give quite a bit of information on block control and how to set it up.

Because of the size of the original scan, I've had to break the file up into two files to be able to get them under the forum upload size limit.

Marklin 0361 Signal Manual pt1.pdf (18,112kb) downloaded 158 time(s).

Marklin 0361 Signal Manual pt2.pdf (19,144kb) downloaded 138 time(s).
