Is that the big surprise we're waiting for? Cab control in the CS2?

...(...)...

Sounds more like the next 'vision' is being telegraphed - but keep in mind
- mFx locos were available (just) before the MS1 was available but almost 2 years before the CS(60212) hit the streets.

...(...)...

In the year 2004 only two MFX models : a br 03 & a BR 41 + a third model in the export catalog : the french sncf 150X which was the first export model with mfx.
...in Fact they came out at the end of the year...
CS1 was planned for 2004 too, if my memory serves me correctly it came out 9 months later after summer 2005 (because of important delays from ESU...).

I'm a bit thoughtful why Roco trying to sell as much of the ore wagon type Uad. Do they know something about what Märklin will release Cool

It seems that Sweden is a good market 2013 but maybe a bit much to be swallow Confused

Now we are talking! RE 4/4II in the LION livery is a guaranteed 2 loco sale to me (although I hope one is a dummy for operational simplicity)

The Italian 94.5 is another item of interest as well, although I'll hold judgement until I see it

Canadian Pacific set I was really hoping for the F7 as that is a timeless Lionel classic in O scale I never owner, but that is still a nice set, I just won't be buying Bored

Assuming they do a nice assortment of coaches and wagons there will be some nice stuff this year!

F-7's seem more likely as PA's were not purchased by any Canadian RR's. They had plenty of F-7/9's and FA's, but no PA's. One of the demonstrator units was briefly painted in CN colors, but, ultimately, sold to the M-K-T.

2.- At the momen, no new wagons for the Krokodile set, so extrange
3.- The messelok is a Black/red Kroko like Märklin with old model
4.- Vert interesting 5 wagons like 48450
5.- A TRAXX DB with all sound
6.- A BR24 with full sound
7.- A lot more new items now i can remember :-)

I don't know if there is a photo of the Insider Br58 in this Dutch 3Rail forum, as I don't have a forum login to see! Maybe one of our Dutch members who has a login for that forum can check for us.

Hi Miguel,

Telex couplers are more useful for freight and shunting locos. An express loco does not really need one, unless you plan to uncouple from the train a lot in sidings with no uncoupling racks. All my station tracks and all my long sidings have uncoupling tracks in them, so having the loco equipped as well is not necessary.

Moreover, Telex couplers are less likely to be reliable with all coupling types. I have great problems sometimes getting my older Relex couplers to couple properly with the newer Telex.

Hi Ray,

You are right about Telex being more useful for freight locos. Passenger locos couple and decouple much less times to the cars, so
the use of an uncoupler track is in genral enough.
So if I have to choose between having the Telex in freight or passenger locos, I totally agree about they are much more useful in freight locos. As a conclusion if the BR03 doesn't have it, is not that bad. You convinced me about that! :)

Best regards,
Miguel

If they come with a Canadian Set, hopefully it will not be an ALCO PA, as this was the closest that the Canadian Railways came to it, the FA-1, FA-2 and FPA-4:
FA-1 CP http://www.railpictures....hp?id=266993&nseq=23
FA-2 CP http://www.railpictures....php?id=402751&nseq=5
FPA-4 CN http://www.railpictures....php?id=349409&nseq=2
FPA-4 VIA (CN) http://www.railpictures.....php?id=31530&nseq=7
FPA-4 Historic (restored to CN original livery) http://www.railpictures....hp?id=119538&nseq=13

There were two PA prototypes that were tested on the Canadian National. The CN and CP eventually bought some Bo-Bo models from ALCO which were delivered through their Canadian MLW (Montreal Locomotive Works) subsidiary (see photos above).

I do not know how long the PA diesels were in operation in Canada before they returned to the USA and were sold to other railroads.
The only PAs that I ever saw in Montreal were the ones pulling the Delaware and Hudson "Adirondack" to Albany and New York (Central Station) during the 1970s. That train was transferred to Amtrak and the D&H loks were no longer seen in Canada.

The quintessential Canadian train is this one (model by Rapido Trains):

I hope you guys are correct about the time. I've decided to quit work by lunch tomorrow. I'm guessing I won't be contributing much during the afternoon anyway... BigGrin

It looks like a Norwegian EL12 and not a Dm3 because they didn’t have tree part.

In the German product database you can select "Neuheiten-Prospekt 2013" to find 11 (!) new items. This cannot be all.
Found nothing on the homepage, neither in the News section.

But it ain't 1400 yet ...

Tom

Hi!

Under "produktsuche" on M Homepage you can choose "Neuheiten 2013", so I did but found only a couple of items that we already know about. So I guess we have to wait a bit more...

/Torbjörn

Edit; Tom was quicker than me...
