I am looking for a HAG Re 4/4 I listed on http://www.hag.ch/English/cfdoc...tabelle=lokdatenenglisch and plan to convert it to digital. It should be Märklin-Motorola format, as I'm using the Märklin 6021 CU. I want to use a permanent magnet, and a Märklin 6090x decoder if possible. Has anyone here done a similar conversion with a HAG Re 4/4? What HAG article N.o.? What and where to find a permanent magnet? etc. etc.

I'd suggest that you post your question at the HAG group:

Other solutions:
- There is a 3-rail digital version of the 4/4 I available, e.g. #232-04; you may try to order its parts.
- You may contact Jacques Vuye (Sonoma, CA), who does HAG conversions.

As far as I know the HAG motor is a sealed unit and you may have to replace the entire unit.
