My project was, to convert the analog marklin 3123 - "micheline" bus to digital controlled with mLd.
Also I decide to add interior light in the driver cab, and to change the interior lights of bulbs with 3mm yellow LED.

My first thought was to use the 60962 mLD for the conversion, but I found better idea to use the 60942 mLD, without the board of 21pin, because it is smaller from 60962.

For the driver cab, I choose to use a 2 x 1,3 mm SMD yellow LED.
All the cables that I use are 0,04 mm.

Great work! Looks very neat!
I have always liked the odd (but cool) look of that michelin bus.
Maybe you could post a video of it in action when you get the time?

You are welcome jeehring,
Τhe green tube is a heat shrink tube. It is hiding a 2k2 1/4w current limiter resistor, for the power supply of the SMD LED inside the driver's cab.

Hi Adrian,

When your ready to convert using the ESU micro have a look at my tips page as I have done this conversion.
I decided to use the original lamps rather than LEDs because you get much better even light also the speed can be profiled to run at 100km/h instead of the 250km/h plus the way it came originally from Marklin.
