Hi everybody, again long time away for my trains, i think now i'm back for good........
I have digitized all of my locos, the bedroom layout is working fine controlled by a CS2, half of the turnouts controlled by K83 ( more are on the way )
so, a couple of days ago i decided that is time to upgrade the software, and it was very easy, just plug it to the router, press the update button and voila! now i'm running version 2.0, since it was so easy and kids are more impressed by technological stuff i have decided to explore the world of computer control, setting up the network was a little more tricky since i'm using a crossover network cable but finally i managed to make itrain to work fine. Other thing is with windigipet however, there is no way to make it works.
I'm running windows 7, set the firewall off and tried to run wdp in windows XP and Vista compatibility mode but nothing happens.
Can anybody give me a clue of what am i doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
Francisco

Check the Ip Settings in WDP for the Cs2, they could be wrong.

well, problem solved or a least clarified, i have installed the test version of WDP 2012 wich runs on windows 7 and it works just fine, sadly it is only in German, so a little bit tricky to me.
So, i think that the problem maybe just an incompatibility of WDP 2009 and windows 7?

Try Railroad & Co. There is a demo version which unfortunately only runs for 10 minutes. The software is fully compatible with Win 7, 16 & 32, CS2 and in English.

You can get it at http://www.freiwald.com/pages/index.html

I can confirm that WDP 2009 works with the 32 bit edition of windows 7. Did you install the latest version of 2009? I believe that support for the CS2 was not available until the third interim update.

Unfortunately, WDP2012 is unlikely to be available in English until Christmas this year.
