Hi,
Does anyone know what features the Märklin 60760 decoder has?
- I assume it is simlar to ESU Lokpilot, ( EMF speed regulation, Accelaration / Retardation)?
- How many functions are there - 4? (F1 -F4)
- Does it have the ability to switch off acc/ret? as the "ordinary/full featured" Märklin decoders often provide - I very much appreciate that function.

Does anyone have any experience of decoder? - How is it as compared to for example Lok Pilot?

Any advice is appreciated,
BR/Wurttemberg

It's a very simple decoder, it does not come close to a Lokpilot. You cannot adjust the motor parameters, it fixed for the 5 pole motor kit in the set. You can adjust acceleration/ braking delay. there are only functions headlight in both ends.

Not correct! There are additional functions controllable with F1/F2, etc, on this decoder. The Webmaster recently posted a picture of the 60760 decoder board showing where the solder pads for the extra functions are. The picture came from the x-train.de site.

And this is the photo that was, but is no longer in villefra's first post in that thread.

But I do know that Juhan has the picture off the x-train site.

But not independently as with LokPilot: there is one common setting for both.

This decoder set is ideal for converting to digital some of those older analogue models that don't require a lot of functions. I have several locos in my collection which I wanted to convert but I felt did not warrant spending a lot of money on.

With the 5 pole kit included you get a fairly smooth running loco, as long as you set a longish delay on the acceleration/braking. If you set a short delay, or disable it with F4, you will find that the speed steps are quite noticeable.

Best thing about it is that for about 25-30 euro you get a full digital conversion for any DCM loco.

I have used this set also to convert Delta locos to full digital, with a tremendous improvement in running qualities.

Thank you All!
What a tremendous respons, and I am amazed of all knowledge about "secret features" there is at the forum.

I do appreciate the pdf - quite impressive!
