Hi Bruce

If you want the 2.0.1 version for your CS2 download the "file" called :

cs2update.tgz (5.694,83 kb)

which is the same version which is placed on Marklin's Online-Server when you connect your
CS2 to the Internet at the moment.

If you wish to take a look inside the cs2update.tgz-file download this program and install it :

TotalCommander (Website : http://www.ghisler.com )

Once Installed you can double-click on the file to see the content of the packed .tgz file.

You should also try taking a look at the interal Webserver running in your CS 2.

Use the IP-Address you have setup to be used with your CS2 and enter that in a Webbrowser (Internet explorer / Firefox or other Browsers)

Example :

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (replace the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with the IP-Address which your own cs2 has been setup to use) and press ENTER.
CS3+ 60216 ( SW:2.5.2 ) / CS2 60215 ( SW:4.3.0 ) / MS2 60653/57 ( SW:4.28 ) / MS1 60652 ( SW:1.8 AP ) / 60883 S88 LINK ( SW:1.1 )
MDT 3 (SW 3.6.0) - HW: ( 60970 / 60971 / 60801 ) & ESU LOKPROGRAMMER ( SW 5.2.12 ) / ESU HW: 53451 / 53900 / 53901

Hi,
Thankyou for that info. The update worked perfectly. I had the V1.6 in my CS2 and it was not sufficient to run the new I pad app.

All up and running. I now have to get used to having an I pad in my hand at times.

Cheers Bruce.BigGrin

Hi Bruce

Nice that you got it to work with your Ipad.

If you need "more" help with Marklin Mainstation App and the Ipad just send me a mail.

Remember that if you insert (draw) your track-layout under the "Layout" part on the CS2,
the Ipad can show up to 25 x 40 fields without you having to scroll up/down and around on the Ipad
to see the whole layout.
My Track-layout is managed with 4 pages (for the tracks) and 6 other pages on the Ipad for the stearing
of 4 x 7051 Cranes / 7294 Transfer Brigde / 7286 Turntable and with a 2 special pages for the S88-contacts
allowing me to monitor up to 128 feedbacks on the IPad.

You can try to update by Internet Connection. So you are sure the latest software is installed.

Well I tried updating my CS2 with 1.6.4 tgz file (which is 18mb) from Marklin website.

With this file the CS2 got updated to version 1.6.4 and not 2.0.1

Did anyway manage to update CS2 to version 2.0.1 with USB stick only?

Else I guess only option is the internet thingy.

Hi Steven,

This maybe a topic you have discussed in the past.

Marklin Turntables

I have had 7286 for a ouple of years and have decided to go digital with a retrofit kit 7687.
Wired up Ok ( although tried to use another transformer to operate the turntable only..didn't like it) all via the CS2.60214

Did the programming and so far so good. Turntable is operating.

Have only 7 spokes and I have programmed those in of which one is No1.
Operation:
Can step through and TT will go to first programmed spoke. Press again and it will go to next one and so. That's OK
Will do a 180.
I can press No1 on the CS2 Keyboard and it will return direct to this position.

What it doesn't do is : If I select a programmed spoke it does not go direct to it. According to manual it should. Is there something more I need to do or haven't done?

Next Question: Can I run the TT operation with another transformer Like I did with the analogue?Smile
