Hello everyone:

I would like to know which of the following two Seuthe Steam Generators corresponds to the Märklin 7726. Is it No. 11 (16-22 V) or No. 10 (12-16 V)? Which should be used if the smoke function is controlled via the "f1" key on the Control Unit?

Are the any other differences between the Märklin 7226 and the Seuthe? Would one produce more smoke than the other one?

Thank you in advance and greetings from Montreal.
Armando
Best regards,

Hi Armando, I don't know the model no. but when I ordered a Marklin generator it was a Seuthe in a Marklin box.

Hi Armando,

Indeed you either need the nr. 10 or nr.11 which both have the same size as a Märklin 7226.

It depends on the loc in which you want to install it.If it's a digital loc of the older generation you need the special digital version nr.11(green insulator) and the newer types with more than one function (designated fx) need the "conventional" type nr.10(pink insulator), which produces enough smoke in that case.

Also se this topic:

Hope this helps
