A big thanks to Marklin USA for the very fast turn around on my central Station.
I shipped it out a week ago Monday and it was returned today.
The upgrades make this a whole new operating system. I haven't explored all the functions but it is much faster booting up and the general instructions and functions are much better.
It's taken awhile but it does show that the company can act in a positive and responsible way.
Thanks.

I received a very nice email from Brenda at Marklin USA this evening. She made mention of the fact that Wisconsin has been prepared to handle the update for the past four months. The delay has been in getting part from Germany.
If each of you receive the same service (and you should), I'm sure we will all be happy with the results. I certainly don't think that their is any reason why I should receive special treatment. I expect we will all be treated equally.

From Fred Gates to Jeff Stimson to the office staff at Marklin USA; they are all good people trying to do the right things for the customer. No question in my mind from their actions on behalf of the customer. (Geeze, now I'm starting to sound a lot like an American Lutz!)

Ain't it supposed to be like that - happy customers - in an ideal world! SmileSmileSmile

I can give you all some confidence - customers here had to wait for their upgrades almost as much as you for some time until Märklin got again the needed parts. But it seems "to be rolling" now again and even better: last week I traveled to the Göppingen area and for curtesy carried a box with repair items and several CS's for upgrade from one of my dealers with me (which he had to hold back just due to that parts issue). To my surprise I was asked at the museum if I wanted to wait a little while and take the upgraded CS's already back with me - which I surely did; also enjoying the time there. wink

Here in this isolated part of Europe, i had to wait for 4 months till i get back my cs.
No wonder why the majority here buys DC.
Although we must be fair, M is a company that takes care of her customers.
(I am flattering her to produce a mfx f7 biggrin).

I agree,I also had to wait almost 4 months. I got it back 3 days ago and all my data is lost. [:(][:(][:(] I suppose that I must be glad that I finally got it and that is working.
