Unfortunately, mine was in the second batch, so I don't have mine yet. Either way, I liked the software and its capabilities. I didn't get to fully test it, since it was someone else's CS, and anything I would have like to do would have changed the owner's programming, but the menus were simple and fast. I liked it indeed, and all promises seem fulfilled. Luis

How long does it take to translate from German to English. 30 minutes maybe and the way they are printed in black and white on cheap paper the whole job could be done in a couple of days by a good printer. The new international manual version should be available soon and thus everything ready to perform as well the updates in other countries/for languages other than German.

Joined: 25/07/2007(UTC) Posts: 11 Location: Home,		I sent my CS to M in june, got a letter on july 5th that a new CS on the way to me where because the old one had a fault. After 3 weeks I called M to hear about my package because it hadn't arrived yet. The sad news was that they had exchanged so many old CS' that they had none in stock anymore. Now I have to wait till october before they can deliver it to me :( So instead, I bought an updated CS on Ebay and Im gonna sell the old one when I get that later this year.

Hi Bob, I checked the list again (just for you) and it's even more - I came to a total of 68 on my CS (11 steamer, 15 diesel, 32 electric, 6 trains including the railbus, 3 passenger cars and the crane). As you can see from the picture, the Schienenzeppelin you had asked for is the 5th last in the list.

I would have also expected some improvements in the ergonomics of selection. - maybe tree structure with "Steam,Diesel,Elec,Other" then by wheel arrangement - also an upload or design capability. - slider not so close to the ridge/frame - X and V not so close together or to the sliderbar In fact why a scroll bar at all ?

When the Mobile Station is connected to the Central Station for the first time, the Central Station checks the version of the database in the Mobile Station. If this version is older than the version in the Central Station, then this database is automatically updated. The screen on the Mobile Station will go dark during this process. A note about the updating process will appear after a short while on the Central Station’s screen. After the updating of the database in the Mobile Station is finished, the latter will also be reset. All of the data in the Mobile Station’s locomotive will be erased in the process! The transfer of data from the central Station to the Mobile Station takes about 3 - 10 minutes.

When we get never software and also never list of locomotive's and so on to the CS we just need to connect the MS to the CS once more and it will be updated again,,, Nice as this make's our MS never to go "old", hehehe,,,

However As I have never had any acknowledgement, either directly or via updates to the FAQ page I now have zero expectations and have given up. I brought it home, my database was intact, everything looking excellent, then I put a new lok in the track and the CS crashed straight away. When it came back up, the lok database was completely wiped off. Great start, hey? Fortunately, the most difficult setup to bring back up, the accessories one is still intact. Now, off to rebuild my database. BTW, although the serial number is the same, my RJ45 plug is now of the new style, while it used to be an older style. Luis

Maybe I'm still providing a feedback on this some time; but surely I'll not expect any direct response - either they treat this important enough and fix it or they don't.

Joined: 10/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 2,162 Location: Portugal		Mmmmmm.... It has crashed again, when putting a lok on track. It was a bad crash too, since I had to remove the batteries to make it reboot. This time the database was not wiped out. I then tried to punish it and provoke a crash: I put 6 mfx loks on the track at the same time and expected a crash: nothing! It dealt with the fact perfectly and recognized them all. Anyway, I managed to have it working for a few hours after that, with no more quirks. It is also now accessing my wireless LAN, via a Linksys WET54G wireless bridge to a Linksys WRT54G router. I've done backups, I haven't tried restores yet. I'm surprised by the very small size of the backup files: 10 loks and 10 accessories results in a 4,00 KB file! I couldn't telnet into it, because it still requires a login+password, and no obvious choices worked, so I couldn't browse its contents and try to play with the icons... I haven't tried any of its new capabilities yet, and some I won't even be capable of, due to lack of equipment (i.e. S88, 6021, 6015/6017...). Luis

The CS just dies completely and I have to remove batteries before it can start up again. I had it a couple of times at the same moment where a contact for S88 registered, but it has also happened random a couple of times. I have also tried to provoke it, but still no luck. I think it micht be a combination of several things

Nope it happened while I was only watching. Not sure if it has any effect, but when I had the errors my trains where set to use 28 speedsteps. After changing back to 14 I havnt had any problems (yet) but I'll keep watching and testing
