Any body ever made a static grass applicator? I see on a lot of layouts static grass is used and it looks awesome!I've looked on utube but they only show you how to use a home made one.You put a nail in your glue connect a wire sprinkle grass and presto it stands up.Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

Hi Davo,

For a couple of years now, Noch produces a reasonably affordable one, my rather limited experience using it is very positive. Information can be found here:

I also have Noch Grasmaster. It's easy to use and gives great results.

Thanks Ulf!Smile

I got an electric fly swat from my father-in-law (it's a long and complicated story, I won't go into that...biggrin).
Well I found it utterly useless, but thanks to you it might still have some value.

Just hope I don't "electrecute" myself!biggrin

I like the do it yourself fly swatter method. I think I'll try that when I get to that stage of construction. Thanks for the link.

You can build one without a fly swatter, they're just used because they're a dirt cheap source of the necessary electronics.

Maybe this will help:

Have fun but be carefull!
Kind regards,
