Hello everybody,
When I got the starter set, I also subscribed via Internet to the Marklin HO Insider Club. I have a "couple" of questions for those of you who are already members of the club. I apologize in advance for asking so many questions. Here we go:
1. How long till the membership card is in the mail?
2. If I subscribed during the month of January 2007, am I eligible for membership for the year of 2007?
3. Assuming the answer for #2 is Yes, then will I still receive the January mailing?
4. What does the One time series mean?
5. What is an exclusive or members only item?
6. How many of the members only items can one member order?
7. The HO car that is being offered to the memmbers, when is that announced and how long it takes for it to be available to members?
8. Anything else that I missed about the membership?

4. A One Time series is a car or locomotive that is produced only for one year. However it has happened in the past that the following year they reissue the same item, but with a different paint job or road number.
5. A member's only item is a car that is made for Insider Members only. You will receive a coupon with one of the mailings that will allow you order it. However you can find many of these on e-bay at any given time.
6. One of each scale. 1, HO, Z
7. They are usually announced in the March/April mailing, and are sent out around November/December.
8. Your Insider membership experience many vary greatly from others. Here in North America we seem to have more than our share of problems, but not everyone will have the same problem at the same time. I had a few years of trouble free membership, but for the past few months things have not gone so smoothly. At the same time others who had been having problems, now are not experiencing any.
