Hello

I recently picked up a box with 5 new 6080 decoders, besides being able to program more addresses (all 80) in them, are there any more advantages to be had with this decoder compared to the one that comes with the 4 dip-switches normally used in Delta lok's?

The 6080 has a single function available that can be used for either headlights, smoke unit, or telex coupler.

Compared to an early delta decoder it is better, but the last of the delta decoders were better than the 6080 in terms of functions, number of speed steps etc….
