Hi All

I would like to put a double Y junction onto my layout, I need help with the design using C track components.

Didn't try yet.
Some notes:
  • If you replace the 24230 near the gap with 24215+24207 then the angle should nearly match; use 24115+24107 instead of the 24130; small gaps on the CAD usually do not matter as the tracks have some elasticity
  • Otherwise, to get a full 90° turn add 24206 pieces at the turnout and crossover on top; then you can also add 24206 to each other turnout/crossover and fill the gap with a 24230 to get to full 90°

Regards
Tom

How large can we go?

I do not like the s-shaped curves, but it can easily be built without cutting C track pieces:

A bit smaller, but I'm not sure if you can squeeze it together:

Hi
thanks for your help, i like the smaller version, as in this case, size matters. i think C track may have the wiggle room. i will build it in scarm, and see how many mms i have to wiggle. The important bits are the angles.

How about swinging (and space saving)?
