I'd like to replace the plastic wheelsets on my large scale Märklin 5800 passenger cars with metal wheelsets. Does anyone know where I can get these? Perhas the LGB or others would fit.

Thanks,
Tom

Cool

You can't run LGB wheelsets on Märklin tracks, the flanges on LGB wheels are too large, and will destroy the sleepers of your Märklin track.

You can see comparing pictures here: https://www.marklin-user...cale-tracks-and-turnouts

Märklin has metal wheel sets as spare parts.

Sometimes you can also find Hübner wheel sets on ebay.

Per.

Cool
