Hi to all,
the shown below wagon was purchased from a seller in Ebay long time ago, by a member of our local Marklin Club, here in Athens, and I wonder if there was ever any such model produced my Marklin, or, it is totally hand made by some enthusiast modeller ??

Hi Akis,

This is the base-plate of a Märklin 4514 car, loaded with parts of the chassis of an unlucky KLEINBAHN class 52.

The Märklin-car:

Compare the wheels.

The ownwer of this strange car is me.I bought it on ebay from a very good austrian seller with other three 4516 marklin
cars and a br 23 23014 all in perfect condition. This strange car is the same as the 4516 but without the little iron
bars those are fitted on the car.Maybe that helps to find an answer to this problem.Thank you for your help.

Hi

Does it look like it could be a further wreck version of this item :

The reference was 392 until 1950 and then became #4516...

Hi,

The chassis of 4516 and 4514 are nearly identical. But the plate of 4516 hasn't these holes which are used to fix the loco on the photo. Originally used to fix the plastic-body of the car.

Thanks to all, and congratulations from me also to Markus for solving the problem!!! Especially the correct identification of the carriage, as well as, the Kleinbahn loco chassis !! So, it is finally, as we suspected, a private prototypical composition, and yes, Yum, a nice idea on how to recycle old locos !!!
Thanks to everybody, and especially to Markus!
