Hi all,
i am just in the process to plan my layout (an available room of 12,5 * 2 m is there....). For planning purposes i want to use Wintrack and have found several offers at stores or ebay. I am wondering if there are differences between the Modellplan and Viessmann versions or is it really the same product ?
Thank you all for your responses.

Hi Al

Mate, I have and use the Viessmann 6.1 3D. It is as good, as they say, of the other/s.

If you use the 'freebee' the 6.0 you will not be able to save or print.

My view is invest in the extra as this will last a long time.

I use the 6.0 as an aid to the 6.1. The latter is in German, which is not, unfortunately, my lingua franca.

Cheers mate

I assume Viessmann and Modellplan are only the distributors of this software. I bought my version 5 (without 3D [:(]) with a Viessmann logo and works good. It's not strong in planning the environment, like roads, houses, rivers etc. Pretty basic I must say. Some things, like selecting tracks, copy & paste are a bit odd, but overall it's a great planning tool. So is it's price...

Good luck with selecting your tool.

Thank you all for your answers, meanwhile the märklin news folder has arrived and....... among other more or less nice things the new item 60521 comes up, it looks to me like the wintrack product (but is about 20% cheaper at lokshop.de although something with the märklin label...). But the description is more than poor. Has anybody an idea what is really behind the item 60521 ???
Greetings to all here from germany.
