Another new guy question! Where do I find wide radius, ie: R3 R4 etc, track plans, for C track on the web; do I have to buy the Marklin plan book? Dave R

My advice: find good track planing software and do it yourself!

One candidate is WinTrack.

More information can be found here

Dave:

I would agree. Almost all of the published plans are for R1 and R2 curves.

Agree; does not look like freelancing with the larger radii would be that easy. Is the Marklin C Track plan book worthwhile regarding R3 and wider plans; Is it available in English? Dave R

I would not buy the M plan book. Software is good or why not try the paper and pencil to start with and go from there. I reckon that your own plan is better than a copy of somebody else. If you have C track it comes apart etc so quickly you can try out parts of a plan very easily.

Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.
