cars in this condion are really execeptional. So EUR 271.66 (todays exange-rate) is not so far from truth. I bought more expensive cars in the past.

Seems a bit high...

But in very good condition. The seller's others items aren't the best deal either. Knowing ebay, someone will probably come around and place a single bid

hi, If that is the case I have missed a few bargins,as I have seen nice boxed versions of this sell for US$ 200-300

not to be misunderstood: This is no bargain. But A realistic value compared to German prices. The USD is very weak for EUR-people in the moment, so buying in the US became very interesting in the last months.

Well said Markus,

Comparing Marklin prices between different countries is an interesting calculation. I have almost been able to convert a German sold item price to a US sold item price. This is useful for finding an appropriate value for an item.

The differences in EUR Vs. USD has been very helpful for the "SMART" buyers and sellers.
