Hello again. Since HAMO came up elsewhere I just wanted to see if anyone here has early, Pre-Marklin, Hamo items to show and share? I have only my mid 90's Koll's catalogs to show two models that were made by HAMO with a short description of Marklin's purchase and name usage. One was a metal bodied V-80 and the other was the V-160 "Lola". I think they also made streetcars. I'd like to find an early catalog just to see how their items compared to Marklin at the time. Thank you.

Nice trams in that catalog...

Is the catalog copyrighted?

Thank you Markus. I sent you an email. Viewing the catalog is blocked by the company server unfortunately.

Hi Juhan,

I'am sure that there is no copyright-owner any more. But if you have doubts, delete it.

I also checked the "HAMO"-brand rights. Marklin-rights are not applicable here. MARKLIN owns the brand since Nov,11 1968. The catalogue is older.

Marklin's copyright laws are interesting. I contacted several ebay sellers of reproduction catalogs on from around 1908-10 about this issue and they said that all of the copyrights have expired so they are "public" resources or something like this.

Thanks,
Bill
