Hello and Merry Christmas!
Is there anyone with experience in livesteam locos the Maerklin 55005 (BR 18.4) in particular? The instructions provided are rather scetchy.
You are supposed to drain the tank before packing up, but where do you find the drain plug/cock? A diagram with all the componends would be handy!

Welcome to the forum. Make sure you use butane and not propane gas.
The drain plug is on the side of the cylinder. You will see a knob which you need to unscrew.
I have a live steam which gives me fits and starts . However it looks beautiful
