Hi to all,
I have one old DC loco E44 (I dont know the company) and has 2 motors. Do you know if I can put a lok pilot decoder ? Is this dangerous to damaged the decoder? [xx(]

If you are using a strong DCC decoder who has at least 1 amps output,which is necesary to control 2 motors then in case just go ahead...!
Make sure that you must connecting 2 motors synchron to one decoder...!

Thanks for your help! I think that lok pilot has 1,2 output but I am not sure, ( I will check it) but also dont know If it is possible to connect 2 motors synchron.. |

You can also connecting 2 decoders in the same loco,if you have 2 motors. But,it will not been so good by running loco like acc. and dec. at the same time...
So,i prefer that you shall contact an expert at hobbystore and letting them connecting yours loco with decoder if you are not sure.
You can also get inside of internet and seeking after DCC,like how to building in decoder in the locomodels.

I have a F7 (AA) so has 2 motors. I used ONe ESU MFX Decoder. Runs Ok. Other F7s have been changed using sasme format. Nev |
