Hello everyone,

Does anyone have any information on this train station? It looks like it is in great shape....does anyone know anything about it? I haven't been able to find an example.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

there's not much I can contribute. I have compared the picture in my catalog with the one on Ebay. The Ebay item indeed seems to be in great shape. There is only one slight difference which I could detect and that is an extra door on the left side of the station building which is not there in my picture. Obviously an alteration by Märklin.

The text in the catalog reads:

2048 station

with goods shed, barrier with ticket collector's box, sliding doors, crane, passage, detachable roof, provision for electric lighting, 22x 6 1/4 x 8 1/4 in.

One thing though: the crane which is supposed to be on the right side of the station building is either not there or I could not see it. One must ask the seller whether he has more pictures.

Many regards,

Hans

I like M-track and my things that run on it were built between 1959 and 1972.
