Has anyone had any luck on any of these "live auction" sites? Are there as good of deals as on Ebay?

I have bid on the Briish auction house "Vectis". They have train auctions 3 or 4 times a year.I have never won anything as basically I am a cheepskate! Beware the hefty buyers premium and unquantified postage costs.

They are pricey. A lot of add-on charges.
