Very interesting. Thanks Steven. I had a look on Marklin's website, and while the 37355 is supposed to have the mfx decoder and no sound, the 37849 doesn't have the mfx, just the fx and still no sound - as per icons displayed for each loco. Why is M still making locos with no mfx decoders? Just wondering...

I think 37849 was for hobby series.

I guess that was not supposed get in the news, or, maybe somebody was testing some changes on the database (stored procedures, jobs etc.) without realizing that they're working on the production db. It happens. [:o)] Smile Smile I feel that M will announce these items later in the year as Fall exclusive items or even items for next year. We shall see what M is bringing to us.
