There is a new Märklin store in Amsterdam, roughly between Amsterdam Zuid railwaystation and the former Olympic stadium.

See for more information this website —>

http://www.marklinstore-amsterdam.nl/

And the route to the Märklin store —>

One problem - no pictures of Zora La rousse on thewebsite as a shoppewr. Not fair the grand opening must be redone to have your presence a la Almajik at the shop in Italy.

If you are travelling by train, the store is really easy to find. Take on the railwaystation of Amsterdam Zuid not the main exit, but the backentrance at the far end of the station. Go down the stairs, and turn right. Walk under the highway and subwaybridges, followed in a short distance by a tunnel under another local street. Keep at the right side of the street. If you see a office build over the road, you are already too far. But a sharp eye has not missed the trains in the shopwindow, I think wink.

If not, take exit "Noord" (North) of the station. Cross the square between the offices and walk under the busstation. Cross the cyclepath and the little grassfield. The road in front of you is the Strawinskilaan. Turn left untill the Parnassusweg, and go right. The Märklinstore will appear at your right hand.

And some pictures of the new store. In the first picture you can see in the background the office builded over the road. At that point, you are too far.

I've heard from the owner that some visitors of this website has visited the Märklinstore.
Also people staying at the Hilton hotel are regular visitors to this shop.
Nice that this topic has proven it's value.

That is a perfect business development for a marklin shop. It looks as if there is track ballast used in the construction.

To the customers from Spain, USA and Chili:
many greetings from the Märklin Store in Amsterdam wink.

P.s.: The backentrance from NS station "Amsterdam Zuid" is closed untill April 19th. You have to take exit "Noord".
