Hi all,
Yesterday I got the Leonhard Weiss set along with the 46715 digital crane. These two go excellent together as both represent the Leonhard Weiss paint scheme. biggrin biggrin biggrinAlso, I got some separate wagons, like 48770, 47190 and few others. But the LW set and the crane... I am most proud of. I will try them sometimes next week and let you know my thoughts. [^][^]

It is cool indeed. Cool The images in the catalogue or on the M's site do not do it justice. it looks much better in real life. The loco is a little gem. Heavy, tiny, but not fragile. Everything is metal. Wish it had sound too, but there's no space to fit a speaker in that body. I will post pictures and a simple review next weekend as they will offically come out of the closet next weekend. They are for my son's birthday. Hehe. biggrinbiggrin

Hi Sebastian,

You terrible man, you. [:I]

Most of the trains I buy are "for my grandsons", tch tch. But the trains stay at my house, so they only get to play with them when they come over. [}:)]

Yes, I agree, the catalogues certainly do not do justice for many of the Marklin models. I am waiting for the 46716 crane set, which I assume must be the same, different colour.

regards
Kimball

That set is one of the best little Gem's and the Kof is very lovely. I will not pull much, but it is extremely beautiful.

Hi Dale, what is an Intellibox? Thanks for the offer. You're so so kind. I have the CS. I don't think that's going to work.

Good Job!!

I thought about this set also. For the same (almost) reason as you. Then I sprung.biggrin I am not familiar with the extra cars you got, but Marklin, I think, also has some cars that will match the LW set.

If I recall correctly the 24 car set is numbered as 00754. Quite pricey for my limited budget, but a few cars are not so bad, and can be added as funds permit. Say for example the 00754-06 (gondola? ); 00754-13 flat car w/ van; 00754-21 Tank car. All of these cars are in the same color and the logo matches LW .

But please after home delivery, Pictures!!

Some pictures about this wonderful little toy could already be found in this thread - actually on the exact same topic: biggrin https://www.marklin-users.net/fo...66&SearchTerms=46715

and one of the "real" Emma too (I took it in summer 2003 during some extensive railroad trackbed refurbishment work done by Leonhard Weiss on a reopened train section near my home town).

Sebastian, glad to see that you got the set and crane now too. Smile

They were indeed never posted on the Märklin product page. The (24) waggon set consisted of 4 different waggons, each 6 in the set:

00754-01 thru -06: high board waggon with gravel inlay
00754-07 thru -12: low board waggon with MB Unimog (the one on my pics above; it is a Schuco metal model - made in China! Cool)
00754-13 thru -18: low board waggon with MB Sprinter
00754-19 thru -24: tank waggon

All items have the Leonhard Weiss color and "LW" company logo and all waggons have different road numbers.

My wife quite understands my trains, and my need to relax with them, but also says I have an obsession with them. So I quoted you, about the health preserving! I think she takes notice of Norwegians.

You have saved the day, and now I am allowed to get the 46716 crane set, which I already ordered just in case.
