Has anyone else seen this live auction on Ebay that is through Stout auctions? It is quite impressive.

I would love to add it to my collection but doubt that I could afford it.

That is crazy. :-(

With the danger of speaking too soon, I think that the lot would be worth almost the double, if auctioned off piece by piece on normal Ebay.

Interesting, but I wonder what the bids are ??? Unfortunately it looks like a lot of cars and misc items, and not a whole lot of locomotives.

They are going to do ok on the 17.5% Buyers premium that is above the bid.

So brokerage house makes out OK any way that it happens.

I counted at least 62 locos either by themself or in a set in the last 2 pictures.

I want this, even if I have some of them... Even at 9000-10000 USD it seems as a good buy... Above that, you may consider if you really want it... On the other hand, you could probably auction off some of the stuff you don't want individually at premium price since there are some "exclusives" too...

Unfortunately, this collection is not within my economical reach "at the moment", or rather - "at any moment"...
