Having recently acquired a Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge loco kit, I now feel the need for some accessories!
I've already found Langley Models, but I'm looking for late Victorian stations and railway buildings suitable for a Welsh slate railroad.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Damon

Hi Damon,

I know it's a bit too obvious, but have you tried the Ffestiniog shop?

http://www.festshop.co.uk/

They have a range of products you can use. Have a look at the Wills SS60 station building. I'm sure I saw one just like it on the real thing at one of the small stations on the line.

Ray,
In fact I bought the kit at the Ffestiniog shop, after taking the "Talking Train" trip.
I forgot to check the other stuff on the website, though [:I]

Cheers,
Damon

If you read Zora's topic, you will find other English models from Metcalfe (cardboard) and Hornby Skaledale (stonecast).

https://www.marklin-user...ault.aspx?g=posts&t=3272

There are also cardboard kits from Superquick and stonecast houses from Townstreet.

I have some of superquick church and station in the 1980s but it was sold before changing over to Marklin.

Thanks MärCo for the links.

MrsKelly and I are undecided about the Ffestiniog railway on our future layout -- I suggested a small Welsh/Victorian village; she suggested a hill with a slate mine -- either way, we need to research modelling techniques for rain wink

Cheers,
Damon
