Do any members have experience with Ace Trains?

http://cgi.ebay.de/MALLA...zt_W0QQitemZ230043628138

I am curious as to their quality of manufacture and their running characteristics?

I know practically no others equal Marklin, but am just curious.

Thanks.

It seems that they sell the locos and the wagons, but how do you get track and 24V transformers??

ACE have a good reputation - their models are essentially in the style of the pre-war O scale tinplate ranges. As for track, Lionel still offer 3-rail track in the USA and you can buy a 24v DC transformer intended for G scale (LGB 1A starter set units appear on ebay regularly). http://www.modelfair.com/acatalog/index.html has some ACE stock - look under "New Model Railways". I'll admit to having been tempted by one of their C/1 type coaches but as my only O loco is a Hachette Hornby (reproduction) SNCF electric they'd be rather wasted here!

Ace Trains are excellent British 0 gauge trains. Look at www.acetrains.com. I would call them the modern Hornby.

Another source of modern sectional 3-rail track is Atlas.
Slim turnouts, double slips and even flex track are available.
According to their catalog it`s got an UV additive that makes it suitable also for outdoor use.
