I will be travelling to Cologne visiting Entsorga 2006 (largest environmental exhibition worldwide) on Wednesday 25/10.
I have compiled a wish list of Maerklin items to buy from a helpful and reasonable in prices local dealer.
I have already checked Lokstation who seems to be good in pricing but unfortunately most of the items I am looking for are not in stock (i.e. 42993, 42972, 41773, 48505, 6036 etc.).
Can anyone indicate from his experience a good, cheap and Most of All HELPFUL dealer to visit in the region?
Thank you in advance folks!

Are there any dealers that are cheap and helpful with lots of items on stock?
Those with lots of items on stock normally aren't cheap.

http://www.modellbahnland.com/ has a big show room.
Once your in Bonn, http://www.puppenkoenig.de is also worth a visit.

In Cologne I suggest:
Modelleisenbahn-Center
Techn. Spielwaren Lindenberg
Blaubach 6-8
50676 Köln

http://www.modellparadies-koeln.de

They're worth a look.

I can't say if they're cheap, I can't say if they're helpful. At least they have something to see.
Regards
Tom

Hi Simeon,

if you should be going to Bonn, don't miss out Modellbahnstation Bonn on Römerstrasse 23 in 53111 Bonn, phone 0228 / 63 74 20. (about 10 minutes walk from main station)
But remember you need about 20-30 minutes by train from Cologne-Deutz-Messe to Bonn Hauptbahnhof by train.
Regard from Karachi
Thomas

Also look out for the Müller department stores. The larger ones do sell Märklin, and even spare parts and things like Faller and Noch. Although they do not sell the most expensive models, their collection is not small either. Some models are made exclusive for Müller.

A passenger car, I saw only at Müller:

You are never too late to become a Märklin fan.
