I have just received #46364: "Royal Württemberg State Railways (K.W.St.E.) type Rm. For the transport of a small schnapps distillery."
I bought it from LokShop, so no returns, at least not at a reasonable cost...

The flat car itself is the usual Märklin quality -- I suspect a standard item used in lots of other novelty items.

The distillery parts, however [:(][:(][:(]!!!

Try as I might, I can't move them round to look like the illustration in either the catalog or in the Märklin database. Am I supposed to be able to?

I assumed the item would look something like the picture, but the actual item has:

prominent moulding lines

large injection-moulding inlet plugs

gaps in the metallic coating where the sprue has been snapped off

I'm a bit irritated (and disappointed), since it's not shown as a "Hobby" item, and I expected a somewhat better quality model...

Does anyone else have this item? Is it possible to move the parts to look like the illustration?
Cheers,
Damon

Hello

I have one, and have struggeled quite much to put it together. I agree, the general impression of the destillery is not the best.

This is how I put it together. I am not sure if I'm right.

Svein,
That's probably right -- well, as good as it gets...

This is definitely not the standard I expected [:(][:(]
