For those RR&CO users out there. There is an updated version available. Costs $59 to update if you do before 15 OCT- $99 after this date. RR and co website www.railroadandco.com provides info on new and improved features.

I have read the TrainController documentatin. It seems to be the best tutorial on block control. The software also seems to be easy to use and functional. How long have you had the software? What other software have you considered? How would you rate Railroad & Company's product?

I like the software alot. I have been using it for over a year now and went with the upgrade because I liked it so much. Of course you can run your trains automatically, but perhaps the most useful feature is using the software to control all of the switches and having a graphic display of the entire layout at hand and where each of my trains are located and in which direction they are pointed. Especially useful for the hidden yards. Additionally the users forum is very helpful whenever one has a problem.
