Hi All,

Recently I purchased two decoderwerk 80203 motorized point motors for K track.

With the help of an experienced Marklin friend we tried to install them on my layout with an Ecos central controller but no luck.

We followed the written instructions and watched various u tube videos showing connection the C track point motor and Marklin CS3.

The decoders became very hot and we could not program them.

Tried reading the CVs manually but just got error messages.

I contacted Decoderwerks and they were very quick to reply and we did a lot of tests exchanged photos but no success.

The personnel service from Decoderwerks was excellent and very reassuring .

I have now received two replacement motors.

My concern now is how to actually install it correctly as I do not know where our original mistake was so I am being very cautious.

Any clues on simple installation or how to read CVs manually with my Ecos would be appreciated.

I have searched for videos showing installation with an Ecos but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.
