Question LGB Train Set for Christmas Tree Layout

Hi everyone,

It has certainly been a while since I last posted on the forum. I am interested in purchasing an LGB train set to run around my Christmas tree this year and I was hoping someone could point me to some good resources on where to start. Some initial questions I have:

- Would an LGB train set be ideal for this purpose?
- Are LBG analog or digital, or both?
- What is needed or recommended to control the locomotive? I currently have an MS2 for my Marklin HO trains, could that be used with LGB trains?
- Please feel free to share any photos of your LGB trains and layouts. BigGrin

Will this be a moving static display, with the train running in circles. Or will you have children ie. 3, or 5 years old actually handling the trains and playing with their hands?
