I use the Uhlenbrock 2neo to control my Trix HO and Tillig TT layouts without any problem.

However, the Marklin three rail set up running mfx decoder fitted locos does not respond. I am using the dedicated number 3 and 4 outputs at the back of the Neo unit to power the track as per instructions which state the loco details should appear on screen when the loco is placed on the track.

Nothing appears and nothing moves!

Locos register in MS2 perfectly.

Locos are:

Electrotren E2746S Renfe class 276 fitted with ESU Loksound 4 decoder

Piko 97423 SNCF BB 4200 fitted with Piko TrainSound decoder which boasts "FITS mfx" (only available in France)

Marklin 39659 DB BR 064 steam loco with mfx decoder

Can anybody advise, please?

Thanks.

Hi

Greetings from Canada!
As I recall when I was using my IB2 with the MFU module the MFX automatic recognition would only work reliably if I had the locomotive on a isolated piece of track with no other trains on it.
I have the outer loop of my layout isolated from the rest of my layout so that I can switch from digital to analog. So it was easy for me to set that up.
Good luck!

Best Regards,
Don

Oh and one other thing, in my case with the IB2 , the MFU module connected to the main track output only, and not the programming track. I don't know if the Neo is wired the same way?

Best Regards,
Don
