I prefer steam engines, to me the others are just fancy boxes with motors, and recently decided to update my loco index cards withe the information of the line the engines were used on originally. In the process I discovered that I have a few engines from the Duchy of Baden. At least three IVh so far. But I don't seem to have any consist mostly of Duchy of Baden either freight or passenger cars. My search of the Mariklin web site produced a couple of freight cars in mixed consists but none of only Duchy of Baden cars. Any idea where I could find one?

Hi
The closer I see is the Wurttemberg cars released in 1989 and referenced 4210, 4211, 4212, 4213
They were meant to go with the Klasse C of Wurtemberg
They look like this

Cheers

Thanks for the replies. Those Liliput cars are exactly what I would want but they do not seem to be available on the resale market. And they are dc. Lippe seems to have current or planned cars available but they are very expensive and dc again. I have a Berlin passenger set which look very similar to the Wurtenberg cars and that made me realize I need to catalog on index cards my cars. Lippe has Liliput ac wheel sets. Actually, finally figuring out Lippe's website they have the older cars available and I may get them.
Shame that they do not have a consist with a caboose.

The Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRG) used both passenger cars procured by the Grand Duchy of Baden State Railways until 1920 as well as vehicles procured by the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRG) based on Baden designs until 1930. Search results for "Liliput Badische Bauart" on the German eBay site:

https://www.ebay.de/sch/...ksid=p2332490.m570.l1313

Some are "original" Grand Duchy of Baden State Railways versions as well as Baden designs of DRG and DB. The latter two could be "re-decalled" if desired. And DC wheelsets can always be swapped against AC versions...

During the Länderbahn era (epoch 1) rolling stock was exchanged and interchanged, making the two Märklin freight train sets Geislinger Steige I + II with their Länderbahn mix appropriate. Current German eBay offers:

2x new Roco H0 47759 BadStB stake cars:
