Since I just started to get back into model railroading, I've been revisiting some old documents.I printed out a long time ago. One of these was how to model a Bavarian branch line and general information on German railways. The website no longer exists but I found workable links at the Wayback Machine. Most of this information may be old hat to the seasoned veterans here, but I thought for posterity, and newbies, it would be a good idea to put the links out there.

There are two links with generally the same information, however, there are differences due to do editing and removal of certain items.

There was also a great train store here in Florida called H&R Trains that recently went out of business. Sadly, Pinellas county wouldn't renew their lease. So, after 47 years, they closed the doors. That had some nice articles on benchwork, scenery and garden railroading I thought I would also add here.

Have fun.

I have been to the H&R trains location in west Fort Lauderdale on US 441Powerline rd back in 1991. I got a couple of Herpa ho cars. Closer to downtown was Discount trains in Sunrise Blvd. I got a dc Roco Lufthansa airport express set with a br 111, and more Herpa BMW Alpina and Mercedes.
