Very interesting. ESP comment about the use of the steam recycling tender, which allowed to locos to do considerable distances without adding water during the Russian Campaign.

Marklin has several models with condensation tenders, but I did find that on Br 52 with a condensation tender, it seemed a bit big compared to the locomotive, so I sold mine. But the condensation tender looked better when paired with a Br 53. eg. 37020

Condesing tenders were also used by the South African Class 25 (CZ tender)

Beyer Peacock Locomotive Works made several drawings, suggesting using Beyer Garratt locomotives in combination with a Henschel condensing tender, but it seems that none were built.
