need help to reset viessmann multiplexer signals

hi all, i just bought my third viessmann 52292 double multiplexer decoder, so i know how to use them. i connected two brand new viessmann 4726 departure signals, and run configuration as usual. i set the decoder switches the same way as the other 2, reset to factory settings, and run configuration. but there already was a problem, since one of the 4726 signals weren't recognized. but it did strange things anyway. the working one, it lights up totally inchoerent lights when i try so send a command. just messed up. i checked that the position of the white marking is correct. at that point, after some other trials and errors, i connected to the new module a previously working 4726 signal, and after configuration now it also showed stranged behaviour at first, and now it is not recognized any more. lights turn up briefly while in configuration phase, but it's just not recognized.
so my question is, i fear that the signals have some microcontroller inside that can be programmed by the 52292 module, and now that i think they have been "badly" programmed, i wonder if there is a way to try to factory reset the internal controller. anger aside, i don't think that i could convince the store where i bought the 52292 module, to also pay for the now 3 4726 signals, even if there are now not working because of the bad 52292 module actions.
thanks for any help

Well, I found this - thanks to leifo in Skovlunde - on this danish MRR site. There's no trace of a microcontroller, neither on this post. You can test the signal by applying low voltages with a resistor to the respective pins of the mast. |
