I just put together a small project see if I could control some points from a touch screen. I had a small touch screen in the glory box so I hooked it up with an Arduino UNO and an MCP2515 CAN bus module. The small screen only allows 8 points to be comfortably controlled but I might give a bigger screen and a different layout a try. I'd need 32 for my layout but, being CAN bus, several modules could be used and put in a 3D printed case. Previous point positions are stored in EEPROM to ensure what should be the correct display at startup. The first time ever run is also detected and point positions will show as blank until first time each point is operated. MS shows the correct position.
