LGB vs. Bemo RhB Ge 2/4 differences

LGB: https://www.lgb.com/products/details/article/24451

€949 (edit: not €1449) with sound and servo for the pantograph

- - -

Bemo: https://www.bemo-modellbahn.de/produkt/rhb-ge-2-4-222-stangen-nostalgielok-mit-sound/

€1449 (edit: not €949) with sound and servo for the pantograph

So what are the differences? Detail? Plastic / metal? Etc.??

Well, there is a rather obvious difference, the Bemo model is O Gauge, while the LGB one is G scale.

LGB runs on 45mm gauge track, standard gauge O scale runs on 32mm gauge track IIRC, and the Bemo model is shown as Om, so may be 16.5mm gauge, but I am not familiar with what track gauges are used for narrow gauge O Scale.

Considering the differences is scale between the two items the Bemo one will be quite a bit smaller, and hence use significantly less material in its construction. I would guess this would form a major part of the price difference.

Blush,.. why I didn't see that, I ask myself! Thank you! Case closed, since I really only wanted to compare them as G scale!

Edit: I now saw that I even got those prices swapped around! Sorry!

So I guess that it's detail + metal(?) that makes up for the difference(?)
