I'm reaching out to my fellow modellers because I need your support to convince Maerklin to release some new models (variants).
So, far they have released DB, Wascosa and MFD Rail variants of the Sddggmrs (T-3000) container car. We have yet to see Hupac, Ermewa and Eurowaggon versions of this car type.
The focus of my collection and my modelling is Switzerland and the trains that run through Switzerland.
I find that Maerklin seems to focus more on east-west traffic than on the north-south axis. I guess that Goeppingen's proximity to the Geislinger Steige might account for some of that.
Hupac is a Swiss company that offers container service on routes throughout Europe. Hupac trains are normally made up of almost entirely Hupac's own cars. On the north-south route, it is rare to find a Hupac (SBB or BLS) train with an assortment of cars. TXL and other operators are more likely to use a mix of leased or rented container cars. DB Cargo runs a mix of their own, but also runs a few Hupac trains into Switzerland and beyond through Basel.

I would like to see Maerklin produce a few Hupac T-3000 cars and would love to see more 45 foot container loads as I have too many of the 20 foot tank containers by now.
I need your help to convince them to expand their product range.

Of interest to me would be 45 foot container loads for Kempers (Chiasso), Ferrymasters, Samskip, Unit45, Cobelfret/CLdN, Michel Verscheure, and others.
I would also love to see a few more 23 foot (swap) tank containers. So far, only the Dutch got both of those with the 47051.XX models and 30 foot containers might be of interest too (Bulkhaul, Bertschi, Move/Ewals, etc)
By contacting Maerklin, we let them gauge the interest and possibly help convince them that there is a demand for these cars/models.
